Newtons is named as one of the top 50 most exciting and groundbreaking new British Businesses in the country in the future 50 peoples choice awards.
It was great to win this award. Chris got to spend a day at the Red Bull Formula 1 facility in Milton Keynes meeting the other winners, listening to interesting lectures from the Red Bull team and getting a tour of the factory. We were also contacted by numerous people who read about us, from Edinburgh to Essex and as far away as Brazil, including an investment fund in London interested in new businesses (I think we were too small at the moment for what they had in mind but still very flattering to be approached).
To enter the award we had to say how we had grown our business, the techniques that we were using and the effect that we were having on the market place. Needless to say, the Judges were impressed – quite rightly so!
