When would a solicitor get involved in a commercial property transaction?

I think the tendency is for clients to instruct solicitors quite late on in the process, but I think it’s mutually beneficial for us to be instructed as early as possible. At quite an early stage, we can identify any issues that arise in the course of dealing with the transaction. Whilst heads of terms, for example, aren’t legally binding, it’s quite difficult to move away from them once you’ve got stuck into the transaction.
